We had a great time in Melbourne. It's a nice city and not too big. The first day we spent walking around the city, checking out the waterfront and hanging out at Federation Square, where there were lots of people watching the Australian Open on a big screen. We spent our second day in town at the Australian Open. The weather was fantastic and we picked up a little sunburn. We were lucky and managed to get seats to watch Andy Murray play his second round match. We'll be cheering for him to win the title in the final match tonight. Our last day in Melbourne we spent some time in a little neighborhood called Fitzroy, which reminded us a lot of the Highlands in Louisville, and went for a walk in the Docklands.

We had a great time in Melbourne and really enjoyed our day at the Australian Open. Tomorrow we are flying to Alice Springs to visit Uluru.
